Modeling and simulations using the Lattice Boltzmann method

Althoug recent, the Lattice Boltzmann method is now a recognized alternative to classical fluid dynamics techniques. It is well suited to massively parallel machines and GPU's. In this talk, I will introduce the method and describe its application to serveral problems in computational sciences.
