Applications and programming models for a homogeneous Cell Cluster

In contrast to the Roadrunner system the Fraunhofer Cell cluster is a homogeneous QS22 System. The talk will presents the results of the first year of operation of the system. It will analyze seismic imaging codes wrt. their efficiency for Cell. A PGAS based parallel programming model for Cell will be presented and the integration of the cluster in a cloud platform will be analyzed.
